  Bottled just three weeks ago, this wine has an amber hue and a brick-red center. On the nose, there is a touch of spirit, combined with notes of cinnamon and fresh red fruit The palate has a rich mouthfeel with fresh cherries. Despite the challenges posed by abundant rain during the 2002 harvest in the Douro, the wine showcases a very nice structure and freshness. (92 pts.)
