  Cask sample. This Tawny Port from 1975 is the future mother wine of the S. Leonardo 30 Year Old Tawny Port. It will replace the current 1972 mother wine when Winemaker Miguel Braga thinks it is ready. There are pleasant caramel notes and rich freshness on the palate. There is a slightly sharp acidity can should mellow out a little with age, or be addressed during blending. (93 pts.)
