    Cask sample. Serving as the current mother wine for the S. Leonardo 30 Year Old Tawny Port, this 1972 Tawny Port boasts an intense nose of caramel, burnt sugar, and a touch of spirit. The palate is equally intense, offering rich notes of toasted nuts, orange spices, dried fruits, and incredible complexity. This is simply a stellar, well-balanced Tawny. (95 pts.)
