  Clear, ruby-orange in color. There are aromas of dried apricots, figs, and noticeable spirit. Despite some heat on the palate, it maintains a dryer style with solid tannins, dried fruit, and notes of light cocoa powder. The finish has some unresolved spirit, but is long with well-structured tannins. (92 pts.)
