Viera de Sousa 50 Year Old Tawny

(Bottled 2023.) Aromas of spicy caramel, brown sugar, crème brûlee, and alcohol warmth. Then I noticed leather and mahogany. Tasting, I find lemon acidity, lots of sugar, and lots of acidity. This is thicker than the Dalva 50. I didn’t note a score, but my recollection is that it was in the 94-96 point range. (17 May 24)
