(61 g/l sugar, 9.1 g/l TA.) Great clarity, ~17 SRM. The aroma has pleasant mustiness, like a wood cellar, along with toffee and caramel. With some time, the old cellar wood remains, and a small floral note tries to fight past that. Medium bodied, this has lots of sharp acidity, with some of the mustiness coming through in the flavor as well. There are also flavors of caramel and maple sugars mixed in with the lemon acidity. Tangy acidity persists through the nice medium-long finish. This is a big step up from the previously tasted wine (2004 Tinta Negra), and a very nice drink. 91 points.
