TN: 2004 D’Oliveiras Malvazia
(August 2024 release, 126 g/l RS.) Good clarity, ~20 SRM. The aroma is sweet and nutty with pecan and peanut. Swirling gives more peanut, and some brown wood like mahogany. This has some nice sugar sweetness, and tastes like candied fruit, cherry and red plum. Medium bodied, this also has a medium finish. This isn’t the most complex wine, but the sugar is in my wheelhouse. 91-92 points.
