(August 2023 Century Family Treasure release, 130 g/l RS, 9.45 g/l TA.) Great clarity, 30+ SRM. Smells musty at first, but with some interesting dessert aroma as well–hazelnut tart, possible Nutella, and later like peanut brittle. This has awesome sugar with acid backing up the finish. There are flavors of orange, lemon, brown sugar, gula jawa, dark caramelized sugar, and a hint of molassas. Later I tasted cherry, date, and pecan pie. A great wine, I wondered if this could be more complex. 96+ points. (6 Dec 24)
