TN: NV Barbeito 50 Years Old O Americano Malvasia

(Bottled November 2022. 74 g/l RS, 10.27 g/l TA. Named for Mannie Berk. A blend of five different wines, 100 liters from MEF.) Smells of varnish, alcohol, and VA at first; then some herbs, and then even later, cinnamon. There are lots of sweet sugars in the flavor, with alcohol and acidity that carry through the finish, leaving some orange stickiness in the teeth. Later I noticed flavors of toffee, caramel, and maple syrup. Very nice. 94 points.
