1994 Taylor VP
Tasted blind in a horizontal of 1994 VPs. Has a lot of dark berry aroma, with black cherry and raspberry as well. There is a hint of oxidation. Nice medium tannins, with flavor building, bigger … A powerful wine. Also there are some minty and menthol notes. 92 points. This was later revealed to be the second half of a split magnum. My notes have some similarities, and thankfully the same score, but I didn’t not think it was the same wine.
