1994 Ramos Pinto Quinta da Ervamoira VP

Tasted blind in a horizontal of 1994 VPs. Smells of dried leaf with a little dust. Swirling gives a little fruit. Lots of tannins, but lacking juice to go with them. The second sip is a little better, but it is still out of balance—all dry and tannic. 91 points.
