1978 Burmester Colheita
(Bottled 2024.) Smells spicy, with dried leaf and sous bois characteristics. Tasting shows lemony sweetness, like a lemon drop candy. There is medium-light acidity to go with a medium-light body. The tangy sweetness improved with time and some buttery syrup flavors showed up as well. 92-93 points.
