1975 Quinta do Noval Nacional VP

Post by Eric Menchen »

Like the prior tasted 1975 Fonseca, this was also a little light in color, with good clarity. The aroma suggested tangy dried fruit and cinnamon candy. It tastes fairly sweet, with some fruity flavor, and alcohol warmth in the finish. It has a fascinating flavor that is atypical for a Port. What is that? Cotton candy? Marshmallow? It was a little spicy, and wonderful with the accompanying food. 93+ points.
