From magnum, day 2. Starts with a pleasant aroma of cellar and apple skins, along with dried cherries, and faint medicinal alcohol. There is some alcohol warmth when tasted, along with faint fruit. The body is medium-light, and there are no tannins to speak of. But there is some nice acidity, and more fruit showing up with time. It improved with time. 94 points.
This was a magnum split over two days. I intentionally didn't look at my tasting note from the first day before tasting on the second, and given all the other wines in between, I didn't remember what I wrote. There are some similarities, and a score improvement on the second day by a point.
