This is more fruity in the aroma than the previously tasted 1994 Noval Nacional, with some orange citrus, pear, cherry, and Concord grape. The flavor is intense, with concentrated fruit that suggests a wine that is less than ten years old. Later there were notes of menthol. This is a really nice wine, but still needs more time to come into its prime.
