Had a Barros colheita '83 over Easter weekend .
Was pleasently surprised at how balanced it was .
Small hint of tannins at the finish .
Went down smooth , an obvious sweetness : caramel , vanilla and prunes .
Excellent price / quality .

Luc,
Just to explain, the Virtual Tasting Room area of the Forum is intended to contain threads relating the tastings of wines or themes that have been chosen as a specific study each month. Fred Blais is the unofficial moderator of the VTR and facilitates the selection of a theme each konth that we all then post a TN for in a single thread.
Your post would be better placed in the main Forum. Leave this for 24 hours to see if Roy or Stewart move it to its proper place. If they do not, please re-post in the Port Forum area.
Merci mon ami
Derek
