Alex,

I agree with the above...its been a while since a really good discussion has come up. I am also glad that even though some of us agree to disagree, the thread has stayed so very civil (minus Derek Unleashing Hell :wink: ). I guess that is what separates us from snotty dry wine drinkers. My hat is off to everyone here :salute:

If only we could round this off with an offline where we compared the 1945 vintage to the 2005 vintage and agreed with each other that we would not touch another bottle of the 2005 vintage until 2025.
I got the perfect place....the next Harvest Trip....but this time, you UK boys gotta come for the full ride. None of that wimpy 3 day thing :wink: :lol:
