Man in Beans

I received this today and thought it might amuze others here.

The Bean Counter - can you find him?

This is bizarre - after you find the guy - it's so obvious. Once you find him - it's embarrassing, and you think, why didn't I see him immediately?

Doctors have concluded that if you find the man in the coffee beans in 3 seconds, the right half of your brain is better developed than most people.

If you find the man between 3 seconds and 1 minute, the right half of your brain is developed normally.

If you find the man between 1 minute and 3 minutes, then the right half of your brain is functioning slowly and you need to eat more protein.

If you have not found the man after 3 minutes, the advice is to look for more of this type of exercise to make that part of the brain stronger!!!

And, yes, the man is really there!!!

I took about the same time - delayed by not knowing exactly what to look for.

If I now saw another version of the same thing, I think I would spot him in a second or two.

I was the same as you, didn't know what to look for until I seen it - but I think that's the point!

Every time I look at it now I spot him in less than 1 second, I don't think it's because my brain is working better than it was this morning

I don't feel any smarter though, probably has more to do with the fact that I'm a coffee addict and roast my own beans. I am, therefore, accustomed to spotting and removing foreign objects in my coffee beans!

4 mins and counting... no man. I'll have to lok again when I get home and onto a better monitor - mine at work is fading (still on a lame old CRT that has some fading colour guns... my LCD at home will have better colour. Here's hoping its the monitor that is dim and not just me... :?

I got it relatively quickly, but wouldn't trust myself that it was right. I carried on looking for a bigger outline, and eventually PM'd Derek.

Without looking at any of the hints provided after my post (which I read afterwards, thanks Andy!) I got it on my home LCD monitor in 13 seconds. Huge difference in the quality of this monitor... I'm putting in for a new monitor tomorrow - that old CRT is just amazingly bad. What is fairly evident on this monitor was, well, impossible to see on the other one. Blurry, colour going, very dark.
