Out to dinner at a restaurant that doesn't have a decent Port or Madeira selection, so I opted for the Blandy's 10 Year.
Nose of light caramel and just a touch of varnish. A touch of vanilla on the palate, short-to-medium finish. Well balanced spirits, nice structured mouth-feel. Not the best bottle of Blandy's 10 year I've had, but it looks like the bottle is only 1/4 full, so no telling how long it has been open. 86 points.
