Wine & Food

Post by Bjørn Tore Aastorp Ruud »

Hello Roy.
You know this is my baby in life.
A wine and food section maybe will be popular.
I just posted today: Duck with port.

Have a good one.

I agree with Bjorn. An interesting recipe that includes port would be fun.

I like it, I love it, I want some more of it.

Would you guys be willing to invest the time to head it up if I have it included on the website? If not, would you at least take time to enter recipes of your own?

Any other great ideas like this?

Roy.
I am not sure what you mean when you say "head it up", my english is poor. I guess you mean to be active and to contribute?

I will post as much as possible, but I have to say I am a familyman with small kids, so I do not have the time to be here all the time. Also I am not rich, so the only times I get to taste something expensive is through my work.
However I will do my best.

Hello all.
A Port/Madeira and food forum is a great idea. I hope there are some enthusiasts out there.

This is an excellent idea. :D

I always wanted to try port with a full meal, I have heard about it, read about it, but never tried it, yet !

Recipes and ideas would be the start of new tasting sensations I am sure.

I have made port sauce to go with meat but no more than that.

I support the idea.
