Bought this wine 2 weeks ago at the LCBO. Another product of the Jose Maria da Fonseca & Van Zeller joint venture selling for 30$ can. Again, another success.
Rich and complex nose of violet, blueberry and dark cherries, licorice and minty lether with some time. The mouth is full body, nice extraction but not too much, jammy fruit with some good mineral support, wine if fresh and balanced, the finish is savoury with its berry and chocolate flavour. I was very surprised to see how well this wine was holding togheter with 14,5% alc/vol 16.5/20
