I have been thinking, I am not sure ... but can't remember ever tasting a 1977 Quinta do Noval. But you knew that right? Of course, Quinta do Noval did not produce a 1977 Vintage Port, but again ... you knew that right? Quite the jokester, but if this was totally "innocent" then I apologize in advance!

I bet he was referring to the fact that Noval did harvest some grapes in 77 and though they did not release any, they must have some stocks in barrels or bottle in the Douro.

Rubin - don't give up on the 1975 ports. They are not big and robust but some are quite drinkable and will probably stay that way for a while yet. We had a Grahams last week and it was really enjoyable.

Roy, I have tried almost every VP from 1970 forward excpet the Nacionals. So, 70 Nacional and almost every other Nacional excpet the 1991 which I have tried would be on the list.
