1985 Warres Vintage Port

1985 Warres -- 88 points

Still a pretty dense and rich red color.

Cinnamon and a touch of smoke on the nose

A light, airy, and refreshing body with a backdrop of red fruits.

A light wine with little complexity. Pleasant enough but not exciting. Others liked it more than I did.

Tasted three times with consistent notes. All 3 bottles were from the same source, with somewhat unknown provenance as not bought on release.
