Super Bowl Sunday ... which Port for you?

Post by Roy Hersh »

I always have a Super Bowl Sunday Port. I have one decanting right now for later on today.

What about you?

I'm having some beer instead of port. I had an Indian for dinner so port just wouldn't be right.

Am I right in thinking you're a Patriot, Roy?

I served a bottle of 1983 Warre's Vintage Port during halftime. It had been in the decanter for about 6 hours at serving as was very good. I posted a TN in the forum.

Derek,

Not in the least. I am no Giants fan either (albeit from NY originally) but a fan of one of the most pathetic teams in the NFL, the chOAKLAND Raiders. So at least I was happy to see NE spanked and lose their winless streak before it was completed.

Anyway, I had a 1952 Kopke Colheita today. Very yummy.

Glenn, thanks for the TN! I had the Warre's 1983 on Wed. night. Very good and a group favorite.
