João, indeed this is an outstanding wine. For curiosity sake, if I'm not mistaken I guess it got a 96 point from Wine Spectator.

Right now in Portugal it's impossible to find this wine below the price 100 euros/bottle. I was told that even in the USA it's difficult to find as well for it's a cult wine already !!!

I've tried this particular wine for two occasions now. First time was at Quinta do Crasto itself, when Roy & I were there in October. In that late October evening we had the pleasure to have dinner with Miguel Roquette (and also with Francisco Olazabal of Quinta do Vale Meão). Roy played funny and wanted to drink this wine directly from the decanter . Anyway, it was a enjoyable dinner.

The second time (I tried the Qta Crasto TN 2001) was in a private lunch held last week. I joined a few friends who are serious ( 8) ) wine consumers and one of the bottles of the day was a Magnum of Qta Crasto TN 2001. For mostly of the people there it was their first time trying it and even though it was tasted along side with other portuguese "cult" wines, the Qta Crasto TN 2001 was a "sensation" / it caused a big positive impact.
