TN: 1875 D'Oliveiras Malvasia Vintage Madeira

We have not reached Madeira yet, however one of our guests just happened to have a flask filled to the brim with this beauty which he shared with us today. I recently had the 1875 Barbeito Malvasia which is a very solid bottle of Madeira and I really enjoyed it. However, it is a "minor league" bottling in comparison to the D'Oliveiras version which is certainly still in my top 5 all time Madeiras. I'll include the formal TN in the next FTLOP newsletter, but I could not wait to begin posting on this extraordinary wine. If the price does not dissuade you, I'd stronly recommend this as a buy, before the prices go any higher than they are today. This was a 98 point experience once again.
