This was the at the end of a Madeira tasting:
This interesting tawny in an old-style port bottle was our dessert. With a brilliant brick color and a fruity and grapy nose the wine reminded me almost of a Moscatel de Setubal. Also on the palate this tawny was very fruity and grapy, sweet and mellow, again with hints of Moscatel. What an impressive wine, especially for me as a port-only-twice-a-year drinker.
Ha - my first posted Port TN, I hope there will be more as time goes by...

Re: TN: Porto Dom Rozès, more than 40 years, Tawny
I've seen a couple of those old style squat bottles that Rozes released their 40 year in. IIRC, they are 1-liter in size.

I see it available in 750's; not cheap either! What an amazing looking bottle.

I assume this is the same wine I had at a tasting in 2005. If so, I'm sorry it's not for sale over here.
Anybody know if it's available at places like the Port Wine Institute in Lisbon, so that one might at least enjoy a glass or two should one venture to that part of the continent?
