The 1966 Taylor was a beautiful purple, grape and ruby color in the glass. To the nose were hints of spice, berry, and alcohol. The '66 tasted peppery initially but ended with notes of golden raisin, raspberry, and cranberry. This was an excellent representative bottle of the '66 Taylor vintage, it's doubtful that it gets much better than this!
