Personally can't see much changing, but then again you never know.

They are probably just trying to own more quality vineyards, like Taylor and Symington. RCV is trying to get back on track of National pride.

Yes,
RCV is trying to improve the quality of things and my hat goes off to them for that. I also suspect this has something to do with buying Ventozelo and all the perks that come with owning another "A" grade Quinta.

I am sorry to see this happen, but not all that surprised. RCV is already one of the two largest landholders in the entire Douro Valley, so it is not like they had to have more vineyard land. But at the right price offered, you can find a willing seller more often than not, especially if the conditions of sale are advantageous.
