Here were the 16 bottles of Madeira we had last night before and after dinner. We also enjoyed some stellar wine with dinner, but that is another story.

I wish you could have been there as well. As you know, we only have 16 individuals participate at the Road Show events and this one was particularly fun with a very diverse group of Madeira lovers with varying degrees of expertise. It made for a fantastic night and the only thing I wish is that I could have another glass of each of these in front of me again today.

Was the 1815 labeled just "Comet"?

I am in the early planning stages for the first half of 2009, most likely in NYC again (probably before heading back to Madeira). This won't be a "Road Show" tasting, and in fact, will certainly be a step up.

The 1815 description from the label pretty much read as mentioned. I will share more of the story and pics in my article.
