November VT ideas
Anyone got ideas, wish or themes for this November VT? I'd go to pick one of the those wide available producers we haven't look into yet.

C'est une bonne idée de mon ami. Producteur qui avez-vous eu à l'esprit?

I have an idea or two, but I agree with Andy ... the collective Port wisdom should shine and make the decision for us! :hello:

That would be a very good test. I have a number of 1975's, including Fonseca which hasn't been mentioned in the thread.Erik Wiechers wrote:Having just read the following topic:

I'm up for this one if others have the bottles to compare?

1975 would be fun...as that was the theme of the now canceled offline when Alex was suposed to come to L.A. Maybe I can get it going again without him... I've got a 1975 Warre's that's on death row as we speak.

Re: November VT ideas
As I did say in previous topic with old vintage, I can't participate in such a VT, but if there is enough peeps that can open such VP bottle, I'm really interested about hearing your thoughts,

I'm not sure where I'd find a 1975, but they can't be that difficult to locate. Sounds like an interesting VT to me!

Re: November VT ideas
as much fun as it would be, we should probably save that for another time when people have the time to source one.
How about either a 1994 VP or a 2003 VP. Both are easy to find and most people here should have some, or easy access to them. It would be fun to get some recent TN's on one of them.

That would be fun, especially given the recent discussions about these possibly being not as good as originally hyped.Frederick Blais wrote:94 is interesting and always good to drink !

Fun and interesting, especially if someone opens up a Fonseca. I bought 6 halves of them but are afraid to open them at this stage

Re: November VT ideas
Erik, makes sense...Lets go with 2003 VP's then??? They are still easily obtainable in the market place, still relatively cheap to buy if someone needs to source something, and what better time to enjoy them and get some recent TN's before they start shutting down in another year or two.

Good, it will be fun to see if folks agree that 1994 VPs won't age well or lack structure.
