1942 Hermanos Diez Vintage Port
I'm sorry to say but this port was undrinkable va through the roof obviously poorly stored at some point.Bought at auction some years ago.First spoiled bottle I've had in a long time

Simon,
What did you do with the contents after you gave up on them? I only ask from the experience that I had a few weeks ago with a wine that I opened and decanted and which absolutely stank.
24 hours later and most of the stink had gone and the wine was quite palatable. 12 hours after that and the wine was very enjoyable.
How long did you give it to come round - if it was ever going to?
Alex
