2003 VP Offering

Post by Roy Hersh »

This is for folks from the USA. Winexchange is tried and true and their pre-release prices are normally as good as any retailer in the country. I bought my first pre-release Port from them with the 1991 vintage.

800 76-winex

Croft @ $58
Delaforce @ $47
Dow @ $63
Fonseca @ $75
Graham @ $75
Niepoort @ $68
Quinta do Vesuvio @ $59
Quinta do Roriz @ $45
Smith Woodhouse $46
Taylor @ $75

I have not shopped around and you may find a retailer here with prices even lower if you shop hard. If there is more than a $2 spread, please let us all know, AFTER you place your order. I am tired of always having to put a disclaimer on everything I offer up to youse guyz FTLOP but: I don't get jack for posting this here, nor on anything you buy. You can say you heard it here, which will hopefully get them to check out the website .... OR not. That is the end of my Public Service Announcement for today! :D

By the way, there are some amazing wines above at prices that will look really good by the time you open the bottles!

Fonseca and Grahams 69.95

PremierCru

The Croft is good though and Niepoort still seems hard to find.

This type of information alone, makes this FORUM a valuable commodity. Just wait until you see what is up my sleeve in terms of a Marketplace Bonanza. Keep your eyes peeled to this section of the Forum this week for the big announcement! :?:

Here's the futures list for the LCBO (Ontario Liquor Board). There's some decent prices but the Croft, Fonseca, Taylor pricing is making me sick.

The 2000 Fonseca is still widely available at $99cdn, why spend the extra $30 on futures for the 03. Doesn't make any sense ..... but that's the LCBO monopoly at their best.[/url]

Dear Guest,

If you would like to post on the Forum and leave a controversial note here while also spamming the FTLOP website with a retailer's offering ... then at least have the decency to register here on the FORUM and add your name to the post.

As a courtesy, I will provide you with 24 hours to do so, or the post above will be the first ever to be deleted from this site.

Respectfully,

Roy

Roy, my apologies as this was my post. I didn't even realize I wasn't logged on when it was posted. I didn't think anyone could post as a guest?

Fred has created a separate post with a working link which is better anyway!

I look forward to your comments on the pricing!!! Fonseca/Taylor $130cdn WOW!

I ordered 2 cases of 03 futures this past weekend from Wine Exchange. At the time they said they only had 2 bottles of Fonseca left, which I ordered ( i originally wanted 6 bottles). I called back yesterday and they had a computer glitch and added on the remaining 4 :D So, if you tried to order some and they said they were out, they have more so call back.

FWIW, I don't work there, just a very happy customer.

Roy, glad I could help! I added my "real name" to my profile last week. How do I update my username though? In the profile this field cannot be updated?
