The place that shows googlemaps is where I went (around 3 times, in diferent times and days) and I couldn't see it .

I wouldn't trust google maps :? There is also a open door that faces the river, in the old wall, although no sign. It looks like a Tapas bar on that lower level.

As you are standing at the river, in that large open area where all the tables are and all the tourist and locals are eating and drinking. If you are looking up the steep street in front of you, the very first street on your left (walk up the street toward it and turn left). Walk down about 1/2 way or so and its on your left.

OR

If your standing on the river bank, in that same open area....face the river. Walk to your right and about 1/2 way down that old huge stone wall is a bunch of very small doors (there are actually 2 doors that lead into her shop), it's both of those. Look inside and at the bar will be old empty Port/Douro bottles on the shelf behind the bar. That will be it.

Andy, in this case Google Maps is correct. I checked it, and while I think that AVEPOD is possibly a tiny bit farther west than what is indicated by Google Maps, it is no more than 10-15 meters off.

Carlos, I believe the door may be confusing. If I remember correctly, the sign on the door reads "Associacao de Viticultores Engarrafadores dos Vinhos do Porto e Douro" and not AVEPOD.

It was open daily while I was in Porto, but closed fairly early. As I recall it closed at either 18:00 or 19:00 each evening.

Ah, ok. Its a little tuff to find until you know exactly where to look.

..... In my opinion, you can find better "deals" on Vintage Port ... but especially Colheita in a number of shops in the downtown Lisboa area. I have a handful that I go to when there and the prices are usually significantly less money than in Porto.
