ABOUT TAYLOR and Fladgate

Hello eveybody,

I saw some taylors vintage with differents labels ; some are for example taylor's vintage port 2000
and other are taylor fladgate vintage port .

So the question is : Are these wine similar or not ??

These are exactly the same wines, just labelled differently for different markets. In the UK these are sold under the brand name "Taylor's" whilst in the US and Canada the label would use the brand "Taylor Fladgate".

The Taylor Fladgate Partnership owns the Taylor, Fonseca and Croft companies/brands as well as some lower league houses.

The reason behind this is because there is already a Port Style wine made in the US under the brand Taylor's.
