You can afford and would like to have more in your cellar
There are those Ports like Noval Nacional that obviously you'd like to have dozens in your cellar but money constraints blocks you of doing so.
What Port you can afford but is impossible for whatever reasons to get you hands on as much as you'd like to.
For me as stated in another topic, the Niepoort Colheita are never finding their ways into Quebec so I try to bring a few each time I go to Portugal. Some bottling I'd love to buy by the case unfortunately!

Re: You can afford and would like to have more in your cellar
I'm having a terrible time with a couple of the Ports from "Roy's 12" on the front page...
2003 Portal VP (the regular blue-topped one, not the yellow-topped Portal+ which is relatively easy to find)
1997 Noval VP (VA doesn't really bother me unless it's really overpowering)
1983 Cockburn VP (though given recent corked bottles, probably too risky to worry about)
Those three would complete my set.
And then yeah, just about any mature Niepoort Colheita. Or their 1964 Garrafeira. Or their new white 10-yr old.
Prior to the recent newsletter offer, I would have also put the Noval 40-yr old Tawny on the list, but now I have plenty of bottles of 40-yr olds to keep me happy for a while.

'55 Niepoort - I'd snap it up in a minute if I could find a bottle.

Any old white colheita...specifically the 1917 Niepoort....I'd even leap at the chance to just try one glass!! Maybe one day

There is a lot of stuff I wish I could get at UK prices. And I wish Javali was available here in the U.S. I've tried some of that and loved it. I've never tried Quevedo, but would like to try it as well. At the FTLOP gala I really liked the 1960 Niepoort, but my internet searches only show availability in Germany and Portugal.

I'd like to get some old British bottled stuff, some Garrafeira. Any large format bottles are a welcome addition.

Probably not abroad but in Portugal you can find that 55. Unfortunately for me is kinda mirage as is quite expensive.

No need for that as the wine shop that sells it, sends wine almost every day to the US.Well I guess I've got to plan a trip to Portugal!
