1977 Gould Campbell Vintage Port
Like the Smith Woodhouse, this to was still a dark purple and showing no signs of age. A very primary nose of plums, blueberries that was big and bold. Another big bold VP that was loaded with complex chocolate, white pepper, licorise, and some wood. Although it was a tad disjointed right now, I think that was a function of just how young this still is. Easily will last another 20+ years before peaking. 95 Points.

These were the TNs from the 1st Annual FTLOP Port Gala in Seattle this past January. These are only the first day and a half. Still got 1 1/2 days to post about. Next years event promises to be even bigger

This is one of my top five of the vintage and I always love this particular bottling. Great stuff and it showed so very nicely. It was such an amazing value back in the day (it held steady at $29 for several years).
