1905 D'Oliveiras Verdelho
This was also very good and well balanced with lots of dried figs. 93 points.

This bottle was probably the best of the event, for a Madeira. :oops:

I like the '08 better. This was still very good, don't get me wrong. I'd drink this any day of the week and then some...see note on '08 for why scores were most likely low.

Both the 08 Bual and the 05 Verdelho were excellent. I agree with Roy and gave the verdelho a single point more; but I think I may like Verdelho a bit more than Boal. I'm just glad I've a couple bottles of each left.

I was loving this one. :lick: As I am out of the country I don't have my notes but I think the '08 was better back at the April 08 tasting in San Fran?

I had to check my own notes to see. That bottle (at the SF Road Show) of the 1908 was a tad better than the one we had in January. Good memory!
