The Rare Wine Company VB
I have had a LOT of these bottles (500 ml only) of the RWC VB, which is a blend of Verdelho and Bual. But I'd really enjoy hearing from others who have tried this before. What are your impressions of this bottling? I don't know if there was any more bottled, but the first time it was bottled and sold, these went for a paltry $25. I used to give them out as thank you gifts to friends or send a bottle to good friends and relatives who were looking to try Madeira for the first time. I have only one bottle left.

IIRC I bought 1/2 dozen of the these when they came out. I think I've got 1 or 2 left. I really enjoyed them and thought them to be a great value. If there are more available, which I haven't checked yet to see if thats the case, and they are still around the same price I'd grab more of these for sure.

Drank all mine up. I guess I need more.
I liked this a lot; it does taste like a blend of Verdelho and Bual. Not great but very solid and well worth the price.

Eric,
I fully agree with your last sentence. Even at $35 the price is right for a solid, well made wine. The percentage increase on the Madeira is pretty significant but it would not stop me from re-upping.

Didn't Blandy's come out with a similar product in 500 ml size?
