Does anyone have any recent experience of Graham's 1991? I have the chance of a case at a good price but I can't find out much about how it's holding up. It seems to have been well thought of on release but the most recent reference I have in my books is 1996.
Thanks
Derek

I tasted it recently in a big port tasting and thought well enough of it to buy a few. Here's my TN from 16.11.2005:
A little evolved. The scent has liquorice, earth, cigar and chocolate mixed with a red-berry oriented fruitiness. The palate is likewise a little evolved but still very much on an upward slope: very sweet and intense with fine structure and again more red-berry than dark fruit oriented. Long aftertaste with liquorice being prominent. Very good, bordering on excellent.

Hi Derak,
I posted some notes on this back on Dec 26. Pls check the back pages. It's holding up pretty well IMO.

I've tasted it 2 times during December. My notes are quite similar to those of Otto. I'd had that this VP is on its plateau right now. Fully mature, very evolved for a Graham's of 15 years, but drinking very nicely. Not a great Graham's VP, so drink them while you wait for the 85/83!
