Come on Todd, you need to go and have some fun with us. You will be in heaven with all the Port you get to drink, not to mention all the good food we eat. There are always other races [cheers.gif]

I already mentioned to Roy that 2012 is my target .
As I will have reached the ripe age of 50 , and Roy 55 , sharing a 1912 Cockburn in the Douro would be nice [cheers.gif]
Vintage avant jeunesse/or the other way around . . .

2012?

I have a bottle of Madeira or two planned for April of that year, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of The Titanic's tragedy. Might have to find a worthy 1912 bottle of Port if Luc really decides to come along.

I've been so busy at work this past week I've nary time to let out some of my excitement about the upcoming trip. It's now just after 3am and as always the few days before the trip I get up real early to help offset some of the 8 hour time difference. Not to mention by the time I hit the second leg of my flight all i want to do is sleep, which is a good thing as I arrive at 0630 in Oporto.....in 48 hours I will be back in the mother land :D [cheers.gif] :drunk: [yahoo.gif] [dance2.gif] :yumyum: :winebath:

This was one of our most unique tours as there were so many new places that we visited. New restaurants, new hotels, and a bunch of new Port lodges (1st time for our guests and me!) and Quintas too. Loved it!

I hope all participants had an amazing time. We had a few less wines/Ports than some of our other tours but we also had a lot more sleep. :scholar:
