Anybody else going to make it? Wear your FTLOP shirt! 8--)

That's after I get back from vacation, so provided I'm able to stay awake I'll be there!

I am looking forward to seeing you there Chris. I hope it is half as much fun as Dominic Symington was today! It was nice meeting two new members from FTLOP at this tasting. One happened to find the tasting after having found FTLOP in the past 24 hours. A small world after all. [foilhat.gif]

Stewart,

They didn't put it in writing and I have no idea who is going to show up to do the pouring. Probably a local importer or distributor. But your guess is as good as mine. I can't imagine it will be as great a lineup as last night ... in fact, I can guarantee that. However, it might be a bit of fun to try some eclectic offerings.

Turns out they had a very nice lineup of Port, Madeira, and Douro wines. Sounders traffic caused me to be about 45 minutes late so I didn't get to the Madeiras, but I have notes for 9 Ports including the 2007s from Dow, Vesuvio, Smith Woodhouse, and Graham. I'll post them later.

Not quite as good a tasting as at Pete's but a very solid lineup, I'll get my notes up soon. I noticed one of the ladies pouring at Esquin was also at Pete's, must have been a representative from the importer or distributor.
