Which Port producer do you want to explore more for drinking in 2010?

I can't say whether or not any of them will happen in 2010, but I have a few "goals" on my list of Ports to try.

I'd really like to try Ramos Pinto's 30-year Old Tawny. Their 20-yr old is still my favorite in that category, but the 30-yr old is really hard to find in the US.

I want to explore more Graham's vintages in no small part because I like their 1985 so much. I also want to try more Malvedos SQVP.

And I still want to try some of the "new" 10-yr old white Ports that various houses are producing, particularly the Niepoort.

Thanks for sharing and if you do wind up definitely coming on the 2010 Port Harvest Tour, I'll make sure you get your wish and get to Ramos Pinto which is an incredible Lodge to visit. Our tastings there in the past have been pretty remarkable too. So, I hope to be able to help you.

I'm hoping to do vertical tastings of Croft and possibly Vesuvio, and then I have some bottles from smaller names that I've never had before, like Quinta do Vale Dona Maria, Quinta do Portal, and Quinta de Roriz.

Offley is one that I've not had a lot of except for a handful of certain vintages. I've got a store around me that has a selection of various types of Port from them so I'd like to try them more. I was fairly impressed overall at a tasting of Offley's Ports last month on the Harvest Trip.

I have more Vesuvio in my cellar than anything and I've never tried it that I can recall. I have a 1992 that I'd like to explore a bit over the winter to get to know this house.

There's been a lot of time passed from my mega LBV tasting a few years back and today, so I'd like to revisit some of those house LBV's from more recent years and see what my findings are. Focus would be on Graham's, Sandeman, Osborne, Fonseca, Noval, and maybe Dow. Would like to explore Taylor Fladgate more but having them AND Fonseca in the mix may hurt the wallet.

Would also like to explore Niepoort, however they are hard to find, even LBV's. Got a 20y Tawny from them that I'm gonna hold for a while longer.

I am in a similar situation. A lot of Vesuvio and I am yet to try it. Just too pretty looking to open, not to mention none of them have hit the 20 year mark either.

Am I going to have to come beat both of you into drinking submission for that Now, head to your cellars and each of you get a bottle of Vesuvio, then head to kitchen, open said bottle with cork screw/ah-so/or the like, pour into glass, and drink.....oh, and post a Tasting Note on it
