Since this bottle was recommended here on I picked up a bottle today for a whopping $16.
Pulled the cork about an hour ago, but not poured into a decanter. Very nice bouquet of cherries with a little touch of barnyard mixed in. This continues to improve as I've been drinking it as the light cherries have gotten more pronounced and the light tannins are now very prominent. A little bit of green stems was present early on, but as this has now integrated nicely. Considering 2003 was such a hot year with ripe grapes, this is surprisingly refreshing and well balanced. Some youthful oak shows on a long finish full of elegant cherries. A wine that I am quite enjoying and will buy again and one I have no doubt will age for at least another 3-5 years before it peaks.

I have heard good things about this wine. I like their 2003 VP.
