A lake of Borges

Post by Tom Archer »

There is a large quantity of Borges 1980 and 1982 coming up for auction at Christies

Little is written about this shipper, and of that, little is good!

Anyone have any recent notes on these?

I have not tasted the '80, but the '82 Vintage was a drinkable LBV - if a bit over the hill when I tasted it last two years ago. I'd pass, unless it is VERY cheap.
(The Borges '82 VP appears on auction quite often over here - hammer price is about 20 Euros IIRC: too much for my taste).
