My last sips
Over the past hour and a half, I have just finished a glass of Madeira. Now it is time to take my daughter to school, after brushing my teeth. You know the morning has a crazy start when it is 8 a.m. and you've already had your fill of Madeira for the day. Off to LA to drink Port w/ Andy!
Oh yeah, it was a Leacock's Velho Verdelho bottled circa 1885-1905. Good not great.

Re: My last sips
I see, starting without me huh
I've got everything ready to decant my bottles later today and last night Alex brought his over so I can decant those as well. In the wings are a 1940 Quarles Harris Colheita, 1970 Niepoort VP, 1963 Cockburn's VP, 2004 Quinta Vale D. Maria Douro, 2004 Niepoort Charme, and some Broadbent Vinho Verde as a starter white. And there are 8 more people and their wines/Ports coming......so can't wait for tonight.

Actually, he has four. One in use, one on the way to the dry cleaner, one at the dry cleaner, and one on the way back.David Spriggs wrote:Roy.... burned out??! I have yet to see that. He has a liver of iron!Eric Ifune wrote:Roy will be too burned out to taste at the competition at this rate!

Guilty as charged. However, I prefer to think of it as a liver that's been, well, fortified. Yes, that last comma is in the correct place.
Although few would believe this ... typically 2 to 4 days a week ... I have no wine at all. Admittedly, more often 2 than 4, I'm just sayin' ...![In Training [d_training.gif]](./images/smilies/d_training.gif)
