How often do you drink port?

I am just starting out in the wonderful world of port so I find myself with a glass about once every 3 days or so....meaning that I open a bottle and try it over 4-5 days, then wait a week or two before opening another.

How many of you have a glass every day? More than a glass a day? Etc..

I might have a LBV once every 2 weeks or so. I only drink VP's at dinners or parties, because I don't have many of them yet, and I'd rather share them with others.

Not always Port, but I'll try to have a glass or two of dessert wine every evening.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, with an occasional other day thrown in for luck. Typically 2-4 short pours an evening. Almost exclusively tawnies. Tonight I had 6 short pours because I was side-by-siding 3 different tawnies.

All days I have at least a sip of a VP or aged tawny, excepting Sundays, when I´m off... not all Sundays because sometimes when I´m with friends or family I open a VP bottle with a special "Serra da Estrela" cheese.

A glass or two most days in a week, and then I typically, but far from always, wait 4-7 days until I open another bottle.

Today I am going to open half a bottle of Vista Alegre 30 YOT, together with my brother who had his 30th b-day two days ago.
I feel like I am the one having my birthday celebration

This will be my very first opened bottle of port, or any wine, of such high-class potential.

I only drink port during the weekend, Fridays and Saturdays. I tend to open a bottle of tawny of colheita on fridays and it will usually last us for two weekends? With guests or on special occations they last a lot shorter.
