I'm with the crowd - just go ahead and split out the shipping costs.

1) that will make the per bottle price even that much more incredible, and
2) that's how we're used to seeing costs anyway.

And if anyone doesn't want their 5-bottle sampler, just add it to my order.

Ditto here. I think it would be great to serve at a tasting; but given the sample size, I'll probably just share them with my sommelier friend.

My sincere thanks to those of you who took the time to respond.

I am glad this worked out nicely and we are going to get to the rock bottom price possible per bottle. All shipping charges will then be spelled out upon placing your orders, but these guys (the retailer) will not be taking advantage of the situation and will only be looking to cover the cost of materials and shipping. So all will be transparent.

Muito obrigado! :winepour:

I am in favor of separately stating the shipping costs and would be interested as long as, as Andy mentioned, it was a reasonable shipping cost. Thanks for the opportunity.

I'm late to the party, but for what it is worth, it would make no difference to me.

Just think of me as the guy that gives input that adds little, after the fact.

Pricing is finalized. All I can say is that the prices are crazy low, offered net so there will be full transparency. You guys will not believe this coup. I hope you have saved some sheckles. Let's just say ... only 1 item is over $25/btl. [notworthy.gif]

Didn't bid at TCWC today to save my sheckles for the FTLOPortunity. I would like to get some half bottles, but full bottles at a lower price was just too tempting.

It's a great offer, as usual. Thanks to Roy and Oscar for putting it together!

So Oscar, just how much of your wine are you importing? I think I'm going to need a couple of cases just of that! [yahoo.gif]

I only wish we could get the wine/Port over here faster, but that is out of my control. Glad you guys like the offering.

Me likey. Before seeing anything, I was wondering if I should order one case or two. With all the inexpensive options I'll have no problem filling out case #2.

Eric,

I knew you were in the market for 2007 VP. Er, can you think of a better price given my TN and Andy's post this week on the 2007? I thought you would be dancing when you saw that one. Crazy good VP and at that price, the steal (arguably) of all others in the offer. The 2003 LBV was ok too, eh?

Looks Awesome Roy! Its great to get to know a producer before buying/tasting. I can't wait to try the individual grapes in the bonus pack.

Any idea what a case will cost to ship to MN. I don't need an exact number just a ballpark so I can plan ahead. I've never bought a full case before! :D

East coast and west coast ground shipping to me in Colorado is usually around $30 for a case. I'm guessing Illinois to MN might be a little cheaper.

Claus,

I don't think I can get that done in time, but I do have a UK-based offering coming up that all European subscribers will be able to partake in, coming up shortly!

I don't know about anybody else, but I'm dying for these Ports to be ready to order. [cheers.gif] (In part because it's so hard for me to hang onto those precious wine/Port funds). Hurry up, Quevedo bottles...but travel safely. :D

Me too. I know they are en-route so hold on a little longer. Trust me what is offered is some excellent juice and at those prices, just plain silly cheap (and you won't see pricing that cheap again).
