1970 Taylor Vintage Port

Clear medium ruby color. Nose of cinnamon, and raspberry. Smooth and sweet on the palate with flavors of chocolate and strawberry. A little heat with a nice warm finish. A little tight initially, this needed more air. A couple hours into the tasting it really started to open up. Gaining complexity with soft silky tannins, good acidity and a floral / smoky note that wasn't present earlier. 95 points
