2004 Quinta do Crasto LBV Port -- Unfiltered
I've been drinking this over the last two days and really like it a lot. Although the bottle says "Unfiltered" I got next to nothing in my filter when decanting. It is quite a good LBV. I notice a lot of "grittyness" which I take to be the tannis. The spirit was not overpowering and it is quite good right now. As others have said I am excited to let it sit for a few years and try it later in its life. From what I have tasted so far I put it below the Noval 2003 LBV and Black and also the Sandeman 20yr tawney. Its one of the better ports I have tried thus far though. Enjoy!
